Apple Blossom - your assistance please

Description: I took this just today as I need your help. I have played a game and it adjusted my brightness. I have spent ages trying to get the settings back. Is this too dark or too light? I know there are so many variations from monitor to monitor, but at least I can assess the majority feedback. Thanks for your help

Description: Most would see the white wings of this butterfly and call it a white, but its not it had dark green looking veins on its wings when closed. this obviously has just come out of its wet state and was drying off. Which gave me a good opportunity to take close ups. Unfortunately the light was not good, but at least it wasn't bright sunshine which was in its favour. It was resting on a flower from the herb sweet cicely. It smells of aniseed and liquorice. Not seen many recipes for it as not many people use it, which is a shame

Description: The mountains around us are not spectacular vistas with snow and rock, but quite empty spaces. I just haven't been out for ages, which is cheesing me off quite a bit and if I have I just haven't been able to capture good images. But I have a few images, that are okay. I have had to work on them to get them kinda looking okay. But, it is posting something rather than nothing

Description: I went out for a short while to Llanerchaeron. I really wasn't happy with the photographs as there was no real subject that I could put into the frame. This is an HDR image, but the fact that it is tonemapped makes it look slightly interesting. If it were not it would be binned as 70 images were. I have a stitch to do and shall see if that has anything to offer

Description: It is very rare that we go into towns and cities. We avoid them like the plague, but this was a nice one and it was at the sea front. West wales isn't hijacked by the awful arcades, kiss me quick hats an trash. Its like a hidden gem that isn't spoilt by too much tourism and that is what I like about it.

Trees by a lake

Description: We went to the lake which isn't too far and I took loads of images. The winter colour on the images was a very strange colour so I made them into B&W with a tint of sepia. The tint reminds me of an Ilford paper you use to get that gave you this tone. I always use to print on it

Description: Our winter this year was very, very cold. I looked out down the garden and towards to field and saw the air was full of glitter. Someone reminded me that on the BBC there was a wonderful Documentary on Yellowstone park and this phenomenon was shown on that program. It where the air is so cold that any water particles are turned to ice. And the sun was catching these particles making it look like Hollywood had sprayed the field and garden with magic. To capture this I had to shoot in the rays of sunlight and got this shot

Description: You should have seen or will see the images of the boy on a log and the embossed image. As we went round that lake I saw the sky was unusual and it was when I got back I saw that it looked like a V, Goch painting

Description: There is a lake up in the Cambrian Mountains (well there are others as well), where people go and camp freely , have raves and swim in the lake. We went up there in the evening last year and took some sunset images

View of the Cambrians from Sarn Hellen, Ceredigion

Description: This is the other side of the hill that I can see from my house. Its Sarn Helen and anything that has Sarn Helen in it were old Roman roads that transported gold from the hills. We still have a gold mine down the road and the old Roman road leads to that. But the view up there is beautiful. Its no winning image, just a lovely view
