Description: It was great to go to my first Rally in about 2 years yesterday for a change from Wildlife and Landscape stuff.I was a bit off the ball with regards to getting `jump` shots as I was in an unfamiliar area.I did manage some though but was wondering if I should have cropped in tighter?

Description: Up in the hills today in some flat grey light.It was a bit of an effort to get to this view though so shot the scene anyway.Unfortunately I didnt take my tripod so had to handhold three seperate exposures to blend into a HDR due to the high dynamic range in the shot.

This weekend was the closest the Moon has been to the earth for 19 years.I went out yesterday evening in the hope of catching this phenomenon but guess what........it was this evening!What a doughnut eh? Description: I have always declined doing weddings through lack of self confidence in getting it right but last Friday I did my sister a favour by shooting hers.She picked the prints up today and was very happy with them so much so it has given me the confidence to do it again. There was a lot of distracting elements in the BG here so did a little cloning and some gaussian blur to cover it.The venue was very dark with no natural light so the flash was the only light source but I am pleased with the results. I have to say a big thanks to my mate Alan (Valley Walker) for the loan of his 24-70mm,an awesome bit of kit!

Description: Had another go this morning at the wild Red Deer herd in the Brecon Beacons.The main herd were up on the hill in the fog and drizzle but managed to get some shots of this impressive stag a bit lower down.The light,as you can see,was crap but will hopefully give them another go next weekend in some better weather(fingers crossed).

Description: I thought I would upload this to show some of the colour variants in Fallow Deer.They can range from almost black to near pure white and every shade in between.These are a chocolate brown variant and a more traditional fawn/dappled variant.
