Something Different

Fortnightly Challenge - 19th March to midnight 2nd April.

Something Different!!

So - Ditch the Deezlar, Can the Compact and for once let's see what a Mobile (Cell) Phone can produce in the hands of experienced photographers.
Any subject, any post production techniques - it just has to be shot on a mobile.
Just this once---------------

Fortnightly Challenge is open to all members of WPF.
The challenge will be run on (GMT) time.

Post your photo in this thread from midnight 19th March to midnight 2nd April.

2. To be taken during period stated above
3. The photo must include exif data with date and time
4. Post your entry as one attachment directly in this thread

Great idea... but a bit premature ;)

Thanks Clive. I'll try not to "jump the gun" in future.

well done, sorry I couldn't join in, I don't use a phone, but will try to join in on the next challenge.

John&me 06-04-15 14:25

Did not join in do not use a phone

Gidders 06-04-15 21:12

Well done Nigel - got my vote :)

Nigel G 06-04-15 21:40

Thank you all. I was actually waiting with a real camera for a steam train that failed to show up and this was the view behind me. I played with the settings in manual a bit but it wouldn't allow me to close down the aperture to increase DoF - maybe selecting landscape mode would have done that. The gate needed the shadows lifting about 1 stop in pp and the saturation was over punched throughout but other than that its surprisingly competent for a camera I had no interest in when I got the phone.

graham harcombe 07-04-15 04:36

A very good image and a clear winner. Congrats!

Ade G 08-04-15 10:38
