Desktop vs Laptop

2 Attachment(s)
I have processed this image twice, once using my laptop and once using my desktop. Both started from RAW and were processed using DPP and Faststone. I believe that they are very close in the end result but I'd like hear how others see them.
Thanks!

Dan I think the first one is a bit more saturated and sharper but that might be because its not cropped as much, other than that there is no difference that I can see.

Agree with Christine that cropping seems to make a very slight difference, but can't really tell the difference. A couple of questions: what screen do have with your desktop and have you tried printing?

Agree with Christine, the first one is slightly more saturated and perhaps sharper. Don't know which was which but I avoid processing on my laptop as a slight difference of the screens angle makes quite a difference to what you see and therefore the end result.

The one on the left was done on my desktop.
I have Samsung LCD screen for my desktop setup and no, I haven't tried printing but perhaps I will.
I expect to be traveling this summer, possibly for 2 months and if I want to pp pictures, I will be limited to my laptop. If necessary I will re-process some pictures after I get home but obviously it would be better to avoid the extra work. I've been practicing editing on my laptop and feel that I'm getting fairly comparable results using the two machines.
