POTW 12th October 2014
 

There was a couple of images that i had to consider after getting them down to my short list and after a while i chose, Sunset over the Pier.
I selected this Image for POTW because I think its really well balanced and kept my gaze for a long time. This was helped by the composition, contrast, colours and the deep blacks that work really well with this image. An extremely well balanced image which is pleasing on the eye with great overall tonality and good gradation which compliments the high contrast areas. A very atmospheric image. Well done Mike.

Excellent shot, especially liked the suns reflecting off the buildings on the pier.
