My choice this week is; Sika Deer by Paul Langford.
http://www.worldphotographyforum.com...22/DSC7806.jpg Two other shots appeared in my short list; The Valley Walker's Dunraven Delight and Jack9019's San Diego from Shelter Island. All terrific shots, but I opted for Sika Deer. For me it has the magical moment in wildlife shots, where the subject has the stance, the eye contact and of course I high cuteness factor. The EXIF is absent, but it is clearly a distance shot and the flecks (probably insects or dust) only add to the atmosphere. Also the bokeh is very well formed and makes the perfect backdrop. So... well done Paul. |
lovely summery feeling shot....how does the photo of the week work nowadays?

For the last few months, we have been following a suggestion made by Clive (Gidders). The aim was to have a few volunteers who would take it in turns to choose a picture and post it.
There are five on the rota, more would (I think) be welcome and so one week in five we are responsible for a personal choice. |
Oh ok, that sounds like a good idea, I know there was a big discussion about the best way to go with it. I just didn't know what the outcome was.
