April 2006 competition theme
 

Our April competition shall be a freestyle competition where any photo is allowed, please upload your best photos to the competition entries category in the gallery.

The competition will be open until April 30th. At the end of April entries will go into a poll for voting for two weeks when a winner will be announced and transferred into the competition winners category. At the end of this year all competition winners will be entered into a poll for the photo of the year contest, held in January 2007.

One entry per member, photo must have been taken by a member but there is no time restriction on when the photo was taken.

In the event of an overwhelming number of entries Moderators and Admin will decide on a final short list, in this event any Moderators or Admin who entered the competition shall remove their own entry.

After looking a the initial entries I believe some mis-interpretation may have occurred. The 'Free' theme is NO theme, i.e. any photograph any genre will be acceptable.

Please note, this is my fault for not being very clear.

Glad you clarified. I was trying to come up with something that expressed the spirit of " free".

Am I crazy or are there more than one entry per competitor in the March competition?

The guidelines state, one entry per member.

We intend to run a several freestyle competitions throughout a year allowing members who otherwise would not have opportunity to enter into a competition.

Please accept my apologies for any confusion caused.

Considering that the title has changed does that mean that we can retract an image for one we feel is better??:confused: ?

I have no problem if anyone wishes to swap an entry to this months competition.

Thank you Stephen, I will have a search through my pictures to see if there's anything suitable. I'm still new at this.
