Adding locations in Windows XP

1 Attachment(s)
I am now using Nikon Capture as my RAW conversion application because of speed (slight improvement) and seems to have the same quality as Nikon Capture 4. I pass to Photoshop in the usual way but now when I 'save as' the finished photograph photoshop defaults to a temporary directory and i have to perform many clicks to navigate to the chosen place of storage.

Now, if I could only add a drive or folder to the windows (using OS dialogue) window that has my documents, my computer and my network places on the left hand side. Does anyone know if and how I can add this.

Below is a screenshot of the OS dialogue for clarity showing the left hand side I wish to add a folder or drive to save a bit of time.

Here is one solution, though somewhat clunky.

Create a short cut to the destination folder(s) and copy the short cut(s) to your Temp folder. When Capture presents the Save As dialog, opened at the Temp folder, enter *.* in the filename edit box, select the short cut, and you will be transferred to the required folder.

I hope that is intelligible!

Was the information not of use?

I resorted to dropping my photo drive down from the top drop box. After spending 20-25 minutes editting a photo I become tired and need some pic pictures to aim the mouse at. I am officially optically challenged so these things can tire me.
