I'm possibly thinking of down sizing my camera, I've enjoyed using my recently purchased Nikon D5000 but I'm mostly a birder who likes to take snapshots of my humble travels ....with only occasionally deviations trying for something a bit more serious and arty!! I don't like having both binoculars and SLR hanging around my neck and really want something small enough to slip into a shirt pocket.

So, pressuming I could get a good price for my Nikon what sort of compact travel camera should I look at and from what brand? Budget I guess would be around the £200ish mark.
