You shouldn't underestimate the capabilities of your current camera. It will be just as capable of taking a "complex" photo as it is of taking a snapshot. As Mike has said above, a better camera will not make you a better photographer.

Learn to use all the features on your Olympus, learn to use the full range of settings it has. Look critically at your results, learn from the results what works and what doesn't. If you are new to photography, it will be a while before it's really the camera that is limiting your capabilites.

The best camera in the world won't automatically produce stunning compositions with beautiful lighting, these kinds of things are down to you, not the camera.
