I don't think that this idea is very fair to those of us scattered around the World. There are great differences in what is available to many of us and while I recognise that the comp. catagories are broad enough to include all of us most of the time, why risk excluding some of us for no real point. This month, for example, the catagory is "Vehicles" and I would love to take a shot of our ferry. The problem is that it won't be free from the ice until May so unless I want a shot of an ice bound ferry, I'd better come come up with something else. Thinking about that, maybe it's not such a bad idea for an entry.
I think that the one year window is fair.
