I have had some experience with the 24x36 EOS cameras with the EOS 30. Great camera, I'm using it with a semi-pro lens and the results are very sharp. No issues so far, I can imagine that the EOS 1 is even better!

An excellent and robust camera, just remember being a pro camera it will likely have had a lot of use and probably abuse.

Used to own an EOS 1 V, solid , reliable, always check the seals, but a real beauty of a camera, only got rid less than two years ago and get the feeling it was a bad mistake , hey ho the joys of hindsight.....but they are a great series of camera bodies...

Regarding use it's often better to get one that's been used rather than one that has sat in a cupboard all its life...equipment likes to be used!

True but there is use and use if you see what I mean.

An immediate thought springs to mind. ..... I have no idea what that lens would cost but I would think fairly serious cash, and unless you bought a Canon digi body it will be usable for film only. Quite an investment unless you are shooting a lot of film of course. Don |
