Default POTW - w/e 21st August 2016

Doesn't seven weeks come around quickly! Sorry for the lateness, it took me by surprise. I have made a somewhat unusual choice this week, it's not technically the best image, in fact I have to say it's a little over exposed and has a very intrusive prig of branches in the sky area, but to my eye the image has impact. It is of course Hooshang's 'Farmer'.

The elderly farmer is grimacing into the harsh light obviously unaware of the lens that it trained on him as he sits in time honoured way, legs akimbo on his donkey.

There were other excellent shots of course, I liked Ade G's 'Himalayan Honeysuckle' and Nigel's 'Challenging'.

Thanks to all contributors.

Graham

Totally agree with you on "Impact". That I believe esteems deep in the story that viewer wanna know all about.

Good choice Graham and Congratulations Hooshang.
