This is one of the most important camera developments for a long time. IMHO. It brings digital cameras up to date. The high res EVF has to be the way to go. Lets get rid of all that clanking and whirring. Next get rid of the shutter and use electronic timing.

I agree that is the way it will go, it will be interesting to see how good this generation of new EVF is and how quick and accurate the focus is etc. There may well be downsides to the first generation so it will be interesting to watch it develop.

Default Samsung as well!

I read today that Samsung are planing something similar for 2010 with their 14 mp APS-C sensor. Bring it on I say.
