Default Gimbal heads

I have a D700 with a 300mm lens and x2 converter. I really need to buy a gimbal head but cannot decide which one. I'm considering the Jobu Pro or the Black Widow Heavy Duty 2 but these may be too heavy for my equipment. Can anyone help?

I have a couple of Jobu gimbals and love them, either of the ones you mention will be fine with your gear, you would also be fine with the Black Widow light weight. To get the very best out of any of them you need to have a decent tripod too, what are you going to be using it on?

Thanks so much for your reply. I have a Gitzo GT5541LS Carbon 6X so I think it will be fine. I'm also thinking of getting the Apex bean bag for my car as it has a detachable plate for a gimbal. I can buy either of the Jobu heads in Malaysia which will save a lot in postage.
Thanks again.
Sarah
