i beleive you have to pay to use it per year?
anyone looked through the galleries for inspiration?
anyone actually a member?

I dont use it myself but youve nothing to loose by registering. It is only "Heavy users" which have to pay.

If you participate heavily, you will be asked to subscribe at $25.00 per year; but you can get started now without paying anything, and decide about subscribing later.

It used to be the online source of photo information. But I found the moderation of the Nikon forum heavy handed, as they did not allow any criticism of Nikon.

It is still a very good source of information, but then so are many other places.

No idea. But I once joined a forum (ukexpert) and was banned within one day for mentioning another forum (Photo Net). Anyway, they sell pictures in their forums and take copyright too. A rip off.

Oh dear, don't get me on ukexpert Nasty site, nasty owner.
Then again, even some relatively popular 'wildlife' sites have some unpleasant sign-up conditions regarding copyright tucked away.
