Default POTW 4th June

With not a huge number of images to choose from, and quite a few "record" shorts I ended up with quite a short, short list this week.

Wolfie's Marsh Fritillary on Ragged Robin caught my eye & with a bit more DoF it could have made it. I also liked Dave747's Rhodoendron Stamens but again could have done with a bit more DoF & by pushing the ISO to 400 & dropping the shutter speed to 1/450 would have given you 2 more stops from f6.3 to f13.

So my choice this week is Nigel G's Bluebells before the Storm. Love the low angle, letterbox crop, the ominous clouds & at f16 its sharp front to back - great work.
