Default New adventure with my photography.

Over the last 12 months you will notice I don't post any photos anymore, mainly because I can't see to always get the composition right or they are out of focus. I haven't given up on photography I just find it more difficult to achieve good results. I now use any photos I take as reference images for my new found hobby, digital Art.

I gave up painting for real many years ago until Mario bought me an Ipad last February. Instead of reading which is what it was bought for I found a program that got me back into painting and drawing. Having out of focus images doesn't really matter as they are only used as reference. The paintings I have done so far are from some of the photos I already have in my gallery on here. Most of them done on the Ipad some others I have done in the computer version of the program.

I haven't done many paintings yet but thought you would like to have a look at what I have been doing with my photography.

I love that program, Artrage.

I used a version of it a long while ago and made a comic/board book thing for my daughter. Keep meaning to go back to it but just haven't found the time!

You have some great images there, Sapphire. Nice one.

Some beautiful work, Christine. Very well done.
If an image started as a photo and creativity is involved, then I think that the image comes under digital photography. So, post more of your work on WPF.

Thank you all for your very kind comments.

Even though my photography has taken a hit at the moment, with modern technology I have found another interest that includes photography good or bad and that's digital art. I used to love painting and airbrushing except for the mess with digital art there is none of that which is great.
I haven't given up on Archery I still do the British blind sport Competitions, it's a different area of the sport which I can still do.

I will create a thread to include some of my paintings with the reference image if I have used one of the photos out of my gallery and keep adding to it.

Great that you can still enjoy creative imagery, long may it continue. Do put some of them up in the Gallery as they are, as Mike (birdsnapper) says, valid for the forum.

I think your pictures are great. At the the end of the day i think if you are a creative person there is always a medium out there. I think what you have produced is excellent and long may it continue. Perhaps you can offer us a few tips, its something i would like to learn.
