free raw converter

Thanks for the info Chris.I have been looking through the NX thread it seems to be a pretty comprehensive piece of software.It seems to do a lot more than the microsoft digital image suite that I currently use and of course it will convert raw.
I think a purchase will be made soon.

Do try the View (free for good) and NX free trial before paying out, as it is no good pretending NX is easy to get into or everyone's cup of tea and can be slow on older computers, especially if there isn't a huge block of HD memory for it to cache in.

Then do ask supplementary questions in the NX thread as other Stephen and Don may use different bits to me.
