Default POTW 2nd April 2017

Many nice image in this week and nothing to do with April 1st.

Among the very many nice choices, I had a tough time in passing Wolfie's "Cherry Blossom" not only because of very nice technical details including IR nature of image, backed by great composition, but the excellent display of photographer in showing the power of more than a decade & half old camera body, that has had 7 successor so far, currently ending with 80D and that is none but the legendary 10D Canon that is the pioneer in establishing the semi-pro workhouse camera body that even for 2017, has made such a great image with strong impact. This is a good example for any one who only looks at the newest tool in the block and totally forgets that "A great image is all about knowledge and effort of photographer and not the tools".

Well, please join me to congratulate the winner of this week's POTW award, Graham Harcombe for the wonderful image "Hazy Morning"
that has it all in a tranquil way:
