Chistine this looks fishy because when you look at his feed back all of his references are on the same day and most of the sellers have zero feed back.

This looks like the info was poorly hacked into e-bay site.

It has also been know for hackers to hi-jack a real account.

Always check feedback - always check the type of feedback and what it's for. These Chinese sites always seem to have 10 or 11 feedback and all the people who've left them feedback have 10 too!! I like the one that says 'the book has been shipped' and the item seems to be a coat! Sometimes it can be amusing following these dodgy items. But I still say anyone who buys from an overseas site - other than the well known and recommended ones - is asking for trouble. It's bad enough worrying about buying from genuine people in this country - and I assume it's the same for other people in other countries.

If you know that an item could be dodgy can't you warn the people who are bidding.

Yes, always buy the seller, not the product
Bit of a shame as I know there are lots of genuine ebay sellers in China... hopefully as the internet becomes dominant over there, they'll be doing some self-policing.

I know some have issues with paypal...but you rarely get someone with criminal intent using it. In general, if they don't accept paypal, I'll pass it by. It's not easy to create more than one paypal account, where-as its very easy to create a new ebay account.

I only buy using Paypal [unless I really want something and it's not a lot of money] and only accept Paypal [unless there's a good reason] - you lose a bit in commission charges but you do have a guarantee.

I've heard that, as a seller, if your buyer claims not to have recieved the goods, paypal will debit your acount back without any reference to you as the seller. Doesn't seem like much of a guarantee. My preferred method to recieve payment is by direct transfer into my bank account

Christine: Good find. I have reported it just in case you didn't. It is amazing isn't it that it is so obviously a fraud and yet people have been bidding.
