Well done Tom, well deserved. These kind of images give me the creeps. I don't think we're meant to see these critters this close.... stunning image though, I wouldn't have the first clue how do get an image like that.

lol Lee; I do actually relate to that feeling; yet Im drawn to such characters, even wasps, through the lens. It was a fascinating learning curve watching this little creature; they really are so attentive. Apparently, those eyes give them fantastic binocular vision, which is important to this type of spider, as they rely on such amazing vision to catch their food, as they dont use a web.

Absolutely brilliant shot! Scared the hell out of me when the picture opened-I can't stand spiders!
