Hi Kathy. I've got a G11, which I understand is, apart from tilt screen, pretty much similar to the G10. It's a bit bulky for a compact, but has all the controls of a DSLR. I carry it around in my coat pocket and don't notice the weight or bulk. It's a terrific camera and I wouldn't be without it.

How do you get on with the G10?

Mike

Hi Kathy, I have the G 9 which was the predecessor for the G 10. Its 12.1 MP instead of 10 and otherwise mostly the same as yours. Its a terrific cam with raw mode and even manual focus. The only limiting factor is the small sensor which sets it apart from the SLR's. I would rate it as one of the best compacts available with a decent video too.
