That is very Blue, If the flash setting doesn't give the right colour I would try one of the others until I found one that was close or use a filter over the flash.

Thanks Christine,

I will suggest manual setting of W/B. His flash heads are bigger than my Multiblitz so filtering them is not an option.

I think you could be right with manual setting thats if it will correct that amount of blue cast.

Don I have just done some more tests using every setting the tungsten setting gives the most blue very strong the next is Fluorescent the best colour is the cloudy setting. I don't understand why they are lighter on the blue ones as they where all done the same.

Christine,

I have just been looking at the ' cloudy ' setting image and that is very nice from a flash point of view. Nice suble shadowing. Very well done with your constructor skills.

Thanks Don. I have modified the front screen on the ring today I had some very thick tracing paper so laminated a sheet to make it stiff but found it still wasn't dense enough so did another and put them both together and cut the ring out and placed that on the front, it gives a better filter. The one I had on I think was to thin. I may have lost an F stop but it seems to be better.

A very nice model there. Any plans to add an aeroplane to it?
