Egg laying butterfly

Description: This lime butterfly hardly ever stoped. I was lucky enough to catch it laying eggs on a citrus tree.

Saunders's tern

Description: This tern is very much like a little tern. The main differences being more black primaries and dark red feet. There's also some minute difference on the head pattern. This one was hovering over some reed beds near to my house in Saudi Arabia. I noticed it seemed to have a routine of hovering over different spots so I waited at one of it's favourites and got several shots. I like this the best as it's almost angelic.

Lime butterfly laying eggs

Description: I spotted this butterfly whilst out photographing birds. It was moving constantly and never stopped flapping it's wings, even when it stopped to lay eggs.

Description: I spotted this mongoose going into a pipe. When he emerged he looked straight at me and I was lucky enough to get a shot off.

Crested lark in flight

Description: The beach where I do a lot of bird watching is covered in crabs just after the tide goes out. Most of the time I can't get near to them but today they were more obliging.

Lawrence's wreck

Description: This picture was taken with a point and shoot camera when I worked in Tabuk on the Saudi Jordanian border. It is said that it was one of the locomotives wrecked by Lawrence of Arabia when he was helping to fight the Turks.

Description: We went to watch the Red Arrows in display this afternoon. I was surprised they turned up because it was very windy. Due to the late afternoon performance I had to use ISO 400 but the results are not too bad.

Description: This is a picture of my watch against the catalogue page. It's taken with a point and shoot Pentax Optio but I thought it still came out OK. Andy may appreciate it but not the colour of the face.
