Description: Was walking along the river Severn on Tuesday when I suddenly had the urge to take this photo. I thought Ian might appreciate it anyway.

Description: Poppy is a grumpy cat at the best of times. The gnome knows this and delights in winding her up by pointing and taking the mickey. Christmas has just gone, it is January, it is cold, and the stupid gnome is there again pointing and laughing. Poppy is not amused.

Description: I was lucky enough to get this photo as a friend of mine helps with gardening for a lady who lives here. It was once the Royal Station at Sandringham. Swans on a snowy River Severn at Shrewsbury

Description: A view over the river towards the Quarry Park, scene for the August annual Shrewsbury Flower Show. Swans on the river, snow falls and the mist wraps a cold cloak over the scene.

Description: This just captures the Arriva Roadshows (when I worked with t'buses) perfectly - the balloons, the lovely Suzanne, the concerned customer checking the new bus times, and Chris, bless him, handling things as only Chris could... by bombarding the dear with as much info as possible!

Description: One of Arriva Trains Wales rather nasty ex Central 158's goes over the top whilst a more sedate narrowboat chugs by below. The BA 747 is just out of shot ;-)
