Description: Took this pic with a D300 & 50mm f1.8. It's at the Corus plant in IJmuiden, Holland across the canal to Amsterdam.

Description: I wanted to duplicate a pic I saw on photo.net. Very difficult I learned, timing is critical even with 6 fps. This one is made without a flash, wich gives a few more results but leaves the front of the match underexposed.

Description: Because there was no wind the fog froze on the branches in a nice way. The crystals were beautiful, I have never seen this effect before.

Waterworks

Description: This Buiding houses a system to keep the level of the water below the levy at a constant level. Its steam powered and still operational ocasionly. I took this shot at ISO 200/f4.5 - 8 seconds, PP in Photoshop, extra layer to get some detail in the dark areas either side in the front of the shot. Minor sharpening and levels. Comments greatly appreciated!! Thanks for looking! Nils K
