Description: Taken from the Roaches main ridge in Staffordshires peak district. Yesterday morning sunrise shoot, up at 4am to travel to the ridge for 5.30 and walk to the top in time. I had a little sleep when I got home later LOL

Description: Well the ladders actually. One of the delivery drivers from the place who bred falcons actually picked up this chick and put it back into the bushes near the nest site but it was indipendent and flew out to my roof rack. Had to give it a nudge off so we could leave site.

Description: After a few days on the ground the chick had become stronger and would explore the ground along the building front. I could actually get within a couple of metres without causing any stress. The chick even landed on my roofrack/ladders before we left site.

Young Kestrel

Description: A shot from late spring last year. A place I was working had a pair of Kestrels nesting in a canopy over some roller shutter doors. As we were working there for a week or so we got to see the parents feeding the young from just inside the building and eventually when the chicks fledged the nest, early we assume as they could not fly too well. We found this one in the bushes just under the nest site.

Description: You know...the one that stands at the head of the road into Glencoe. LOL well you will if you have visited the area before anyway. A popular spot for people to pull up and get their first picture into the valley from the first roadside car parking area, specially as its just a couple of metres from the road. This was from our holiday this year, used a 0.6 ND grad accross the sky, and was very low with the tripod spread right out into the stream itself.

Description: Its sometimes so easy to walk past an everyday scene without noticing whats before you. I have walked this path so many times but never noticed the scene as it was lit by the evening light. Pretty much pointed the camera at one of natures own compositions .
