Clydach Falls

Description: Taken last weekend at The Clydach Gorge South Wales. Its actually a 2 stitch as I wanted to include the forground vegetation and the tree canopy. Taken using my new purchase a Fuji S5 which I picked up for �80! Amazing latitude with no burnt out highlights, metered as read. Hope it looks OK large on here! Gary

Return to Elan Valley

Description: Been away for a while but thought I'd share a recent landscape with the site that knows best. Returned to the Elan Valley for my second time last week. The weather was superb and luckily the water was still for an hour. Not completely sure about this one as it's almost like two shots in one? Thought I'd share. Gary

Description: The sky was superb Sunday afternoon so I headed straight for this local standing stone at Llangattock. I've really gone to town with the contrast etc on this but I wanted a dramatic B+W. Hope you like it. Gary

Frozen

Description: This image was taken about half an hour before my previous upload. The mist was still thick and the frosty coating made evrything look very special. I've been working on this for Camera Club comp and have been debating about converting to B+W or leaving as is? Thought I'd ask the experts here? Gary

Frosty Landscape

Description: Taken recently just beyond Llangynidr Moor. It was a very frosty misty day then suddenly the mist lifted, amazing light for just a few minutes.. Very little done to this image other than slight contrast boost and sharpening. Gary

Elan Valley

Evening Glow

Description: Taken during early evening near The Heads of The Valleys highest point in Beaufort, Gwent. There was an unusual afternoon inversion that created very interesting light. This did surprisingly well on EPZ for some reason but I thought I'd try it here before I printed for Camera Club. Let me know what you honestly think. Cheers Gary
