Derelict farm building

Description: This is just a small section of quite a large farm building just left to decay, most of it is now securley fenced in for safetys sake but I managed to gain access to this small section without danger to live or limb. At one time I would imagine this to have had two levels, animals or machinery below with perhaps hay/straw storage above. This is a view from the back of the building looking at the second floor.

Old Shed

Description: An old but surprisingly intact work shed, to the right is a steel shed with rusting steel strips and half of the shed is overgrown with vegetation. The rear is not so inspiring to look at but still intact. I've never heard of Thorleys Cake, horse feed I would imagine but it could easily be another animal feed for all I know

Wortham Church, Suffolk

Description: This church is unusual in that the tower on the left was once a watchtower and has never been a bell tower in the original sence, even now it is hollow with no roof. Then the church has been built up around the tower over the centuries. I would have loved to have been able to ask someone about the history of it but there was no one around. I gleaned the watchtower part from ordinance survey maps and what little I've heard. I think the church pre-dates the 15th century.

Description: Photos from the very first round of the FA Cup, these were taken Saturday 15/08/2009 at the Walsham le Willows v Kirkley & Pakefield extra preliminary round of the FA Cup. By the time most people start to take notice of the FA Cup these sorts of teams have normally forgotten about it.

WWII Murals

Description: This was taken on my first visit to Horham, this and another mural are located at what is now the Red Feather Club, Horham Suffolk. The building that now houses the club was the Officers mess, the murals are the origians as painted by Nathan Bindler in 1944. They also house another small private museum, both this and the Hospital are open to the public on the last Sunday of each month, I understand there is no charge for entry but obviously any donations are gratefully received.

Military Ambulace

Description: While taking some photographs of an old USAAF WWII airfield (for a friend whos father flew from there during the war) at Horham Suffolk, I got talking to a couple of elderly gentlemen who informed me a new private museum that had just opened, they gave me directions and although the buildings were closed I was given access to the grounds. The museum buildings were the airfiled hospital and it has been fairly much restored to how it would have been circa 1944.

Description: Another shot of the windmill showing the storm clouds that had followed me all morning, everytime I stopped the car it rained within 5 minutes, I get home to clear blue skys and I live less than 5 miles from here

Description: The camera has been taking a rest, as have I but my sister and her husband turned up at our house yesterday and we decided to have a day at the beach. Here is my daughter and my Brother-In-Law getting a soaking on some sort of Bumper Boats they have at Felixstowe.
