Warm waiting room

Description: Unless someone has set fire to the seats, there are no warming and welcoming fires in todays railway station waiting rooms. This was taken at the Midland Railway Centre at Ripley. Left the tripod at home, but the stabilization system in the Lumix coped remarkably well I think.

Crich Tramway Museum

Description: Taken at Crich Tramway Museum, the tram is Chesterfield Corporation built in 1904 and the "lighthouse" behind is Crich Stand. Opened in 1923, it is now a memorial to the Sherwood Forest Regiment.

Glasgow Corporation Tram

Description: Built in 1922 and withdrawn from service in 1960, this is Glasgow Corporation Tram No 22. Now resides at the excellent Crich Tramway Museum, only 15 mins from were I live.
