Description: These boys are in the river Ganges for 8-9 hours, at a stretch for their peculiar job. After the immersion of the idols they jump in the water to collect all the weapons, the Goddess Durga and her four children and the Asura were holding, made of tin, the decorated background of various designs made on mat or tin and finally the main wooden structures. Those will be sold at nearby market, will be cleaned and resold for next puja, a kind of reselling cycle.

Description: It was early morning in November, temperature was almost zero degree, I was searching birds to shoot in the Lataguri forest (Cochbihar, West Bengal, India), turned a bend and saw this wonderful blend of colors.
