Description: During my morning walk I came across this tiny flower. "Take it home and photograph it" I thought. Which I did, but did not notice the even tinier grub.

Description: It is difficult to get a sharp image of the grass given the size of the heads and the thinness of the stem. The slightest movement sets it wobbling.

Description: A struggling grevillea bush produces these small, thumbnail sized flowers. They last for maybe a week but are only this good for a few hours.

Description: This is a stitched image of Perth WA taken around 6 pm in July. I've added the jet, cessna, Victoria Police helicopter, train and the two donkeys. I also enlarged the boats by 100% or so.

Description: Hosier Lane in Melbourne. Melbourne has a host of small lanes and alleys and many have small restaurants, cafes and bars. Hosier Lane has only a few but it has to be the most colourful. Colours are as shot.

Description: Windsor Lodge prior to restoration. Walhalla was once a prosperous goldmining town, then a ghost town and now a tourist destination. Windsor Lodge is now a B&B.

Country Waiting Room

Description: This is a railway station waiting room at Goorambat Victoria. It is on a disused branch line where authorities stored the Queen's train when she visited Australia and when she used trains. The windows of the room were painted white - hence the great light.

Description: Cradle Mountain is visable less than forty times a year. Generally it is covered by rain clouds. The day before we walked around the lake and did not get a glimpse of the mountain. Yet the next day this is how it was. Beautiful Tasmania.
