This river is requires a liscense from Department of Fisheries and Oceans (DFO) , has a two week period that salmon may be retained, fishing only with barbless fly (1) but may be fished for a longer period for trout. The two week period may at times be during the peak run, if it's before or after it's tough luck. The river may be also closed at any time if the water levels drop too low or the temperature is too high. lwr Sat, 21 Jan 2006 03:43:11 +0000 Black-headed Gulls /gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2242

by: lwr

Description: New to sea birds but from I can see from Sibley's Guide it looks like Black-headed Gulls lwr Sat, 21 Jan 2006 03:22:39 +0000 My view out front /gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2209

by: lwr

Description: This was taken when we had to re-shingle my shed. lwr Fri, 20 Jan 2006 02:52:37 +0000 Rose Buds /gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2208

by: lwr

Description: The rose buds caught my eye as I was trying my Brother in Law's Panasonic DMC-FZ30. There are several color variations also. We pick some of the seed and pass it along to friends, what falls on the ground will grow the next spring. A very hardy flower that will grow in just about anything. lwr Fri, 20 Jan 2006 02:32:17 +0000 "Pond" in Labrador /gallery/showphoto.php?photo=2154

by: lwr

Description: This is a pond that we didn't see till we were up on the higher ground, the road wayyy back there is pretty close to it but hidden by the trees.
