Description: I was in Bushmills today (where they make the famous whiskey) and I noticed this Heron on the other side of the river. A dog caused the Heron to fly over just to where I was and sun came out at the same time. It's not often that things like this happen to me. I only had a 28 to 135 lens on the camera, so this is cropped.

Description: Crop out of a bigger flock but I liked the way they stacked above each other. I am unfortunately back to more trouble with my eyes following the latest eye surgery which will require further treatments and they made the comment that I will never have good sight in that eye.

Description: Went to Abberton Reservoir where there is a small articial pond outside the visitors centre. There was this one lizard on the concrete bank and I managed to get a shot through the fencing. Different from birds anyway!

Description: All I knew was that there was going to be a blood moon on 07/09/25. Only found out that it was going to be an eclipse as well about 10 mins before it appeared, and that I should have been in the south east of the UK for the best view. My time machine was in for service!

Description: I've only been to this location about four times and have never seen Herons or Egrets there before. Only took my Fuji XT3+70-300 and 16-80 lenses, not expecting these. Went back the following day with XT5 and 100-400 lens and there was nothing.

Description: Shouting and wing spreading at another bird. I thought I'd taken my XT5/100-400 combo but when I got there I realised I'd swapped bags about the night before. Bags now clealy identified with different coloured tags. All I need to do now is remember which coloured tag relates to which camera.
