Description: As 2025 begins, Wishing You a very Bright New Year, full of better things like never before for all. As for image, I have tried it before but via utilizing postprocessing and CS. Call me lucky but this time it is a real camera image. Luck is highly desired, but reality tells me it is being in the right place and in a right time, after a lot of reviews of the facts and calculations that it happens for real!

Description: Not that I'm very paranoid (OK just a little bit) but this Santa looks suspicious to me with his unusual elffy assistant that I'm not sure has arrived from Southern or Northern or which border! Maybe the top border! but I highly doubt he even has a passport, let alone a valid visa... and the agony is if he is suspicious to me, guess what poor Santa is gonna have once the Trumpy guy gets to office in Jan!

Description: Finally got a Kingfisher shot! Perhaps rather a static shot with a somewhat wooden pose but hey!!! LOL. I did see a real one in a nearby stream, tiny vivid blue dot far off which flew away at very high speed. No chance of a photo but thrilling to see.

Description: Apologies, for not being on here for some time. I've missed so much, I was looking after someone who was ill and then became ill (with flu) myself. I've missed many of our local Christmas Events etc. (Photographic opportunities). Trouble never comes in 'ones' - hoping the rest of the month will be better but no guarantees. I even missed appearing in a Pantomime, I'll never get another opportunity to do that!! During November I made an assortment of these wee gnomes to give to people at my knitting group.

Description: Last year I was a 'runner up' in an RTE Calendar competition. They showed my photograph on tv and I thought that was the end of it! Last week's RTE Guide complete with the Calendar was on sale throughout Ireland. They included (on the back of the Calendar), all the 'runner uppers' and my photograph is on the top right hand corner including my name!!! If I never achieve anything else in my photographic journey, I can claim this!!!
