Description: I have been asked to identify this tree by a friend. There is another growing in my neighbour's garden, so this is first place I thought of for help.

Description: A neighbour's cat (which seems to have adopted us) taking a well earned nap in my stone trough - good job the crocuses have hibernated.

Description: This little fellow was found by my Husband in a plant pot in his shed yesterday. He shooed it out and it ran off along the slabs. There must have been a busy night making himself a cosy home; and he was spotted late this evening, hoping for a juicy supper.

Description: I cannot give a description other than what can be seen, as I know absolutely nothing about it. ~The photo 'leaf and stem' are the other part of the plant which may help identify/

Chocolate tree

Description: This beautiful tree just looked as if it was made of chocolate. A rich main colour with fronds of a lighter shade.

Description: This hidden archway, is a small tunnel with water flowing beneath. It separates the Japanese gardens from the rock gardens at Newstead Abbey. I was trying to capture the reflections on the roof; but apparently failed miserably.

Description: This insect on the ground at Newstead Abbey, looked like some kind of Dragonfly; but I am not at all sure what it is.
