Description: A 0-4-0 saddletank switcher (shunter), #75, lettered for the Flagg Coal Company, Avoca, Pennsylvania. Built in 1930 by the Vulcan Iron Works of Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania. It later worked from the mid thirties to 1953 for the Solvay Process Company in a rock quarry at Jamestown, New York. Since then the locomotive has been restored and has run on various preservation lines.

Description: Pere Marquette Railway's 2-8-4 built by the Lima Locomotive Works in 1941. Norm, the C&O's were similar as both railroads were controlled by the Van Sweringen brothers. The Pere Marquette was merged into the C&O in 1947 and #1225 was eventually relettered and renumbered as C&O #2699.

Description: Norfolk & Western #611, a 4-8-4, built in their own shops in 1950. #611 is preserved, although insurance concerns have curtailed the operation of this locomotive. The concrete arches are on the Detroit Toledo & Ironton Railroad at Allen Park, Michigan, a memento of a short lived electrification of the line instituted by Henry Ford when he bought it in the early nineteen twenties.
