Description: Had gone birding to Tmn Rimba,Ampang Park.K.L. Malaysis.While looking for birds was resting just on the bank of the stream-looked up and saw this branch (under the canopy of trees) full of these fungus-and the little sunlight that came thro in the gloom showed that every thing is beautiful in it;s on way-isnt it-liked the green on the trunk with the fungus in a striaght line marching up the trunk-lol-hope you'll will like it too.Simple pleasure that nature gives us some times.regards.

Description: I had gone to F.R.IM.(Forest Resech. Inst of Malaysia) a place near Sg.Buloh,Selangor ,Malaysia)on sunday-they told me that i would find birds there-i did find the birds and had another suprise for me.Just as i finished taking the shot of the Red-eyed Bulbul(he wasnt drunk-Ah)-my walking brewiery (my guard from my practice who carrys my food.water and Ale-ah) jabbed me in the side and pointed-Oh my a ?Flying squirrel-just had time for two pics at about 240feet away and the squirrel glided into the jungle.Rviewed the snap-first was blurr but the 2nd was there(ah)It made my day.Then felt something on my neck-touched it-leech-well waited for it to finish gorging and then it dropped off by it's self-dont remove a leech by force before it gorges it self-it may leave it's mouth part behind which will cause infection later.Well you can say I PAID IN BLOOD FOR THE SHOT.I hope you like it Regards(p.s.-they picture is not that good-short time to take it-foregive me.)or i am a lousy picture taker-ah.

Description: On 16th. 07.06-i decided to go birding to Telor Gong,Pandamaran-about 15km from my practice.saw some good birds and at 10.40am was walking on the Bund back(which separets the mangroves from the rural area-i saw a group of 7 animal coming to-wards me-they seem to be rolling on the ground and then standing on their hind legs-just stopped and watched them at 30feet they stopped and set down-they were otters(sea)-oh what fun watching them play especially the 4 young one -when they came to near to me the parents would call them.The parents were just lying at the edge of the bund.Believe me it was the most enjoyable hour of my life.This picture is of the ones who called the youngest back when they came too near me.I hope you'll will like it too.

Description: I had gone birding to my newest pond-had crawled to the edge of the pond-took a few snaps of this Common Moorhen and then got up-instead of flying off it shook it self and glared at me-i wonder do my patients look like this when they leave my practice-Hold it -i dint touch the bird(ah)

Description: My neighbour about 5 houses away had planted a papaya tree 3yrs ago -now the tree is 20feet high-only birds can reach it(ah).Half -eaten fruit.

The Web & The Butterfly.

Description: I had gone birding to mangrove area about 3K.M. from my practice at 12.45pm(my break time-12.45. to 2.30pm)Looking for some birds there(any bird).As i was adjusting my Kowa T.D.1 i kept getting a blur image of the mangrove tree-just peeped over the scope and saw this butterfly,started backing(it is not easy to back out in a mangrove) and at 22paces(give or take a step).i could see the butterfly -then zoomed in and was suprised by the image-a web just hanging over the beautiful butterfly.Named it The Web & The the Butterfly. ?is it macro photography or not.But the pic's was realy pleasing to me,hope it will please you'll too.

Description: Who says if you are tailess you cant find a girl-lol.On Sunday i had gone birding at my patch.I was waiting just 25feet away from a wild cherry tree.Saw this Asian Koel(female)landing on a branch-at first i thought that she was batting her eyes at me-lo then heard this heavy beating of wings and in comes Sir Frances Drake almost up right in flight-sits on the branch of a palm tree which is actually growing with the charry tree-bow's to her and then tries to give her a cherry and as usual being female she flicks her tail at him and flies to a nother branch,and the last i saw was ..Tail doent make a differance for the ac...(ah)I had to gave them some privacy(i closed one eye).

Description: Had gone birding to Fraser's Hill-it is about 140km from my place and one of the Bird sanctury in Malysia.Had gone quite deep in the jungle and saw this flower there-the colours were breath taking and wanted to share them with you"ll-Hope you like it.This Hill station was founded by a English man who built a house in the jungle and was found missing after he went lookong for Tin.

Description: Since my Out-law(mother-in-Law) was uploaded by gerry(Imageinnovator) i think this pic should be here too(i had uploaded this pic in Bf(11.01.06)I decided to go to my patch a Palm oil plantation near my practice.Got out of my car and adjusted my sword and slung my T.D.1 with tripod over my shoulder and stepped into the plantation.Lo there were 11 monkeys setting on the palm trees and the Alfa male was having a sex-rump.He saw and growled for he thought that i was competation for him-i quickly took a few snaps.Then walked deeper into the patch but the bloody monkeys started following me and growling and howling.Thus could see no birds and decided to head back.Reached the edge of the patch i turned and brandished my sword at the alfa male who had followed me and was setting on the last palm tree.You will not believe it-he got up on his hind legs and BRANDISHED HIS MIDDLE SWORD AT Me and collopsed howling.I bolted from there.

Genting Highlands Flats seen through a Noose...

Description: My wife decided to take her relatives from India to Genting Highlands to show them the only casino on a mountain top and tax-free to boot.She put a noose around my neck and dragged me with her-i am a escape artist where her relations are concerned(oh my bank balance).We left our car at the foot of the mountain and took a cable car,you can drive up but it is worth veiwing the scenery as you go up the cable car.Half-way up i took a snap of this flats which can be rented cheap and you can all ways use the cable car to go up.My wife's relation then asked me if i could take a snap of his using the T.D.1 i said no problem please jump down and just before you hit the ground i will take your snap.For a 2nd i thought he was going to do it and save me money but my wife told him that Doctor is joking -Doctors camera only takes long distance shot of birds etc.( spoil sport i told me wife in a whisper).Took the pic on Setmber\05.

Description: Adult dark green with streaked buff and green abdomen,and a brilliant yellow throat and upper breast crossed by a broad band of scarlet;red forehead and yellow marks above and below the eye;gaudy and small,marking stand out on dark head colour.-Size-15cm. I have trying to get a better pics for the last 10days-weather has not helped.When i see the bird through the scope i can see fine whiskers at the base of the bill (upper part)but this pic isnt to bad i think.Love the colours.

Flower of a Wild Vine-??

Description: Three months ago i had gone birding in one of my patchs.I saw this tiny flower on a wild vine which was covering the 25feet tree all most completely and it had a few scattered flowers and their colour applead to me.I had up loaded in birdforum for I.D. but no one could say what it was.I hope some one can tell me.The vine has numerous hooks by which it climb's the tree.The effect on the tree is really lovely.Took a few shots at 16 feet.

Description: While birding a few months ago i saw this Black-bee kept coming back to this bent iron rod imbedded from old construction -wondered why -iron deficiency and the ?carpenter bee was so blazzing blue in the hot sun light i couldnt resist a shot decided to take a close up manual shot with my T.D.1-distance 15feet.Photographer in diappers do LAUGH its good for Health.P.S.-i may have wrongly selected the category-if wrong please put in the right one Thanks.
