Description: Taken early one morning. I woke at 5 in the morning to go to my local pond in the hope of finding newly emerged dragonflies. Instead the morning was thick mist visibility about 100 yards. Rather than waste the morning I looked for other things. I found the diffused light really brought out the colours of the flowers.

Leopard prowl

Description: I watched this leopard for about 3 hours. I wanted to capture a different shot to the usual so placed the animal as far left as possible and cropped a little from the right hand side. apart from a litle adjustment in CS re exposure nothing else done to it.

Description: One of the most difficult shots I have tried to take. The little blighters dont keep still. The light is really subdued and the galss is all steamed up and full of condensation. Fascinating little things though.

Description: This was taken at Colchester Garrison day where they have among other things, Re-encatments by Romand to the Civil war. As I never take portraits i thought I would try a few whilse I was there. Would appreciate any comments. I took this because of the shadoe caused by the hat on the models face.

Damselfly having lunch

Description: I love photographing these insects, but I wanted something a bit more than just an image, beautiful as they are, they are a predator. I followed them for a long time they were zooming in and out after fly's not always succesfully. After a while I saw this one had caught something. Quite pleased with the image especially as hand held and had to get in close.
