St Asaph Cathedral front elevation

Description: Having taken this, I moved to another location, stepped out of the car camera in hand and fell over the kerb.Back of hand gouged by the pavement, lens hood smashed but some of it went between the lens and my hand and gouged a large piece out of a finger resulting n a lot of blood and a trip to A&E. 9 hours later I'm stitched up but also have a fractured bone in my finger as well. I'm now resticting myself to my Nikon A1000 until my hand is healed.

Description: This guy was also a natural and probably his first stand up on a board, he was so happy when he had finished this run. Again I was glad to capture it for him. Being out with the camera, made me realise how much I miss just pottering about with it.

Description: These surfers are on a team building exercise from the Ambulance Service. My friend asked me to take some pics of them but I couldn't stay long. It was too windy to go down on to the beach with my camera.

Preparing to Surf

Description: A friend asked me to take some photographs of his first-time surfing morning. It was a wild day with rough seas but these guys went in anyway. I used the RF100-300, I haven't had much time to experiment with it. I cannot find these pics on my hard drive but have downloaded these from where I sent them to him privately.

Description: In recent years I have become an anorak and joined the local model engineering society which run a 5" model railway during BST at the weekends. Every couple of weeks a full sized Loco will run from London down to Dover and back on the main line. In this case the Mayflower was running from Worcester to Canterbury and back. Try and take a snap when I can

Description: Went to Abberton Reservoir where there is a small articial pond outside the visitors centre. There was this one lizard on the concrete bank and I managed to get a shot through the fencing. Different from birds anyway!

Description: Also known as The Marble Church because of the amount of marble used in its construction. I've driven/been driven past this church thousands of times and never stopped before, so took the opportunity to go there a couple of weeks ago. The door was locked so I had to return to do the interior.
