Description: This photo was entered in last weeks weekend challenge and came second. Thank you to all who voted for it. I like it so much I am adding into my gallery and to provide an opportunity for comment. It was taken in the middle of the afternoon in bright Sun but the exposure required not to blow the main light was such that any nominal light was not recorded and appeared to be a night photo. A technique used in flash photography.

Description: Taken at the Dambusters Memorial attended with tartin69 on Friday (16.05.08), here is my offering. Unfortunately my day wasn't as long as Mart's but I left the house just before 04:00 and arrived at 05:40 simply to bag a parking spot. It was great to witness the Lancaster bomber flying low-ish over the water of Derwent dam.

Description: During a business trip to Belfast I was introduced to Vino Nobile di Montepuliano. I was not that enamored with it at the time but when the same person gave me a bottle for Christamas - WOW. This is a real good wine perhaps my first example was a little old in the bottle. This bottle is my third and ready for new years eve. An exercise in flash really wrapping light gently around the bottle. No USM added, characters were breaking up already due to resizing to 800 x 533.
