Description: The next day after the photo with the wasp I returned to the same clump of lavender and found this bee hard at work

Description: Next day after taking the photo of the wasp I went back to the same clump of lavender to find a very industrious bee and got a few good close ups of it as well.

Dinosaur Lizard

Description: I found this dessicated and partially decomposed lizard on a walk and thought it looked rather dinosaur-like so I took a few photos, and came home and played with a few effects. Rather liked how this one came out. It emphasized the sense of looking into the depths of the skull as well as bringing out the scales on the body.

Geese

Description: Geese nearby on the lookout. Although these were in fact the friendlist geese I have ever encountered. These guys just looked like they were saying LOOK OUT!

Locust

Description: Self-explanatory - it's a locust. Ok he was hiding among the leaves for the night. This photo was taken in fading daylight after sunset so I am pleased at how well it came out without resorting to the flash.

Golden Spider

Description: A spider shed it's carapace on my kitchen wall which was just so beautifully translucent I had to take a photo. Applied a photoshop effect to enhance the translucence and the cream background I used unexpectedly came out this beautiful gold. I liked it so much I just left it like that. Sometimes happy mistakes give you the best results.

Abandoned Chair

Description: There is an abandoned building on the beach near my house. This chair had been abandoned outside. The light, the weathering on the wall, the angles of the shadows and the chair just all came together for me. I have applied a photoshop effect to accentuate the play of light and dark and the weathered features on the wall.
