Description: Standing on the shores of Loch Ness, Scotland where the 'Loch Ness Monster' locally known as 'Nessie' lives (or doesn't!!) this castle dates back to 1230.

Kiltearn Burial Ground - Evanton Scotland

Description: In the village of Evanton, Easter Ross, Scotland this burial ground is still in use. It has graves of servicemen from the second world war from different countries. A grave of Rev Thomas Hog dates from 1642. Some of the grave markers are made of wood, some of stone and some of metal.

Description: The ruins of Beauly Priory lie at the east end the main square of Beauly. It was one of three priories founded in Scotland by monks of the Valliscaulian order, from the Burgundy region of France, in the years following 1230. (Taken from 'Undiscovered Scotland')
