Description: I decided to get out my camera equipment out and give it a clean Noticing my Christmas Cacti had bloomed again I decided to take a photo. Must admit to finding Lightroom & CS6 a little difficult to use afte vertually no use for a long time. Harry

Red Arrows at Scampton

Description: Not used the camera for many months, so found myself forgetting how to use CS6. With this in mind I decided to place a different sky on a Red Arrows image taken sometime back. The original had just a plain grey background. Unfortunately even after many attempts I could not avoid losing the aircraft canopy. Any suggestions.

Description: First time I've seen any bugs/ beetles this year. No birds or butterflies apart from a magpie & jackdaw, must be the cold wind off the North Sea. Mind you I have I've been confined to my garden since March. Harry

Split second prior to crash landing

Description: Have only just got around to editing the last photos I took in October, as per title this was a split second before the vulture crash landed, unfortunately for both the bird and myself it hit my head. This is the third time this has happened to me, naybe because I'm 6ft 2 inches tall or maybe i'm just too late to duck my head. According to the Exif the bird was approx 4 m away when I took the shot.

Description: Spent the day visiting 4 nature reserves on the Lincolnshire Wolds. Not a butterfly, bird or insect to be seen,so just another flower. A flower which has several names. Our Lady's smock, Milkmaids, Fairy flower, May flower and Coco plant.

Description: I mentioned on here some time back that my Canon twinlight macro had ceased to work. Several hundreds �s to repair. However i've just bought the Yonguo Twin Light equivilent @ �140. This has the benefit of also being a general purpose flash dedicated to the canon system. Must say On initial test this flash is a real winner. This flower is my first photo using this equipment. Unfortunately In very windy conditions, so I slightly missed the focus point.

Description: I think this wasp has adopted me. Initially it was wandering around my studio, walking not flying, so I placed it in one of my indoor plants expecting it to go to sleep for the winter, but no, just 1/2 hour later it was around my feet again. A little while later I was watching TV, the door to the TV room was ajar and in walked the wasp again.
