Aida in Cardiff 3

Description: This is another shot from that afternoon in Cardiff, and I think that's enough, lol. Time to find another model for the time being. Here I did use flash. The ambient light was quite low and I didn't had my tripod with me, and with the previous shot I realized how much I like the look of black and white with flash only in the subject. I need to learn a lot, but so far I'm happy with a lot of the pictures I'm doing.

Description: This is another shot from my daughter Aida. Again in the Millenium Centre in Cardiff. Again, I haven't used flash, and I had to make sure she wasn't moving at all. I love the light from the candle.

Description: I was visiting Cardiff with my daughter and my wife when we found this lovely place. I like to use the flash as little as possible if I can help it, and in this occasion was a bit tricky because of the light conditions meaning a slower speed and more chances of loss of sharpness due to not having a tripod handy in that particular day. I will remember to pack my tripod next time.

Description: I was invited to my cousins wedding this summer, and she ask me to make sure that I bring my camera. Of course, I was interested in trying out my eye for wedding photography, to see if I got it or not, but the problem was that the little things around the place did more of an impact in my head than the actual wedding.

Description: Last year, I was looking throught some stuff and I came across a roll of 35mm film, Kodak BW400CN, and this was a roll from 2011, to be exact, during "The Harbour Festival" in Bristol. I actually got some shots out of that film that I like, and this is one of them.

Description: This is my daughter Aida. She's the result of a dramatic and failed relation 18 years ago. Now, after constant problems with my ex, she decided to move here to the UK with my wife, my other two teenagers kids, and me. Things are looking good, and since she is a bit of a poser and I'm in urgent need to learn portrait photography, she is becoming almost a theme in my latest attempts to take decent pictures. Hopefully one day I'll get there.

Description: This is some pots in my garden. I have uploaded a similar picture in color, but this one is been done using B&W film. No editing done at all, just the edges. It have a very dirty and vintage feel to it, and is exactly what I was looking for. I think I'll be buying more of that film.

Description: One of the tables from bar Guernica in Arrecife. This tables where shipped from Paris to this far away corner of the world call Lanzarote, and every table have a different print on it. Also the coffee was very nice.

Caldicot Castle

Description: As the title say, this is Caldicot castle, or just a bit of it, there is some nice walls around with some nice towers. This building is where the cafeteria, reception, the shop, and the toilets are. I take this one with my cheapy digital compact Fujifilm. I trimmed the excess of grass at the bottom, and enhanced colour with PS. I hope this is not considered cheating.
