Faux Aerochrome

Description: Infra red shots taken with a Sigma SD14, which due to it's Foveon sensor sees IR primarily in the red. The SD14 is easily converted to IR by simply removing the dust filter - no tools needed.

Panning in Infra red

Description: Using my new Full spectrum camera I can now capture IR images at normal photographic speeds. This one was taken at the hairpin at Brands hatch during the touring car qualifying, with the aid of a 650nm filter. Without the filter I couldn't get slow enough shutter speeds! (SOOC)

Description: Taking advantage of the late September sun, I spent my lunchtime hunting dragons. I was unable to photograph the one that came within an inch or two of my hand (even my macro lens wouldn't focus that close, and I was nowhere near quick enough if I'd been quick enough). Fortunately there was no lack of other opportunities at more manageable ranges
