Eclipse!

Description: Mother nature did not cooperate during the eclipse today, where I live in eastern Pennsylvania. Clouds rolled in when the sun was about 1/4 covered. So, after waiting for a long time for a clearing, I slowed the shutter to 1.3 seconds and made this image through the cloud layer.

Flowering Weeping Cherry

Description: It's Cherry Blossom time and the gigantic weeping cherry tree in front of our house was in full bloom yesterday. This was supposed to be a dwarf tree when we planted it. I guess nobody told the tree! Made with an Olympus E-M1 Mk II and M.Zuiko Digital ED 12-40mm F2.8 PRO lens. Shot at 30mm (60mm FFE), f/8, 1/100 Sec, ISO-200, handheld. Developed in OM Workspace and processed in Affinity Photo.

Wildfires in Canada

Description: I'm located in Bucks County, Pennsylvania, USA and the Canadian border is 3oo Miles away. This is what our road looked like at 3:00PM. The haze and orange color are because of smoke from the wildfires in Canada. According to the Canadian Interagency Forest Fire Centre, there are currently 417 active fires in the country, effecting approximately 11M acres and displacing at least 120,000 people. I feel so bad for our Canadian neighbors!
