Has a similarity to female's high heel shoes silhouette but doubt if that is the case.

Tugboat 10-10-16 04:30

Sassan and Trena. Yes your both right. As sassan said high heel shoes first I will give it ti sassan. Too simple, I will have to make them harder if I get another go.

Tugboat 10-10-16 23:33

I didn't see Sassans comment when I looked at this.
I have been busy with kids over holidays,so hopefully now I will be able to get back to some photography.

Arthur53 11-10-16 08:42

Hi Trena. Looks like you almost posted at the same time. 3.29 and 3.30 but sassan's was edited later. Not sure it matters much. This could just be if you have a photo to post, post it page. Just keep the fun going.

Ok and for the record, Trena is right. I didn't see her reply either only after posting my own and to recheck saw here comment. Seems mine got up a few moment earlier only. I was waiting to see if Trena is uploading a new one and since haven't seen one, I'll continue the game.

Here is the next "What it is". Could be very easy but lets see.

Tugboat 12-10-16 13:24

Yes on both accounts.

Tugboat 12-10-16 21:27

is it a corrugated cutter/slicer,that you make crinkle chips with? I was looking for mine to cut some vegs last night!

sassan 13-10-16 02:00

LOL. Very close Trena but not yet. Go for it again.

Arthur53 13-10-16 09:03

Spot on "Steak Knife" is it.
Here is the picture in more light and my primitive setup to get two color light, through house hold items!

Game is on you Peter, if you have an image or can make it soon. If not, please say it and anyone with image ready can follow.

postcardcv 14-10-16 07:43

I will try and get one sorted but if anyone has one ready to go please go for it.

Arthur53 20-10-16 15:47

I'll just throw this in then. Who is the famous person in this photo?
If its too hard I'll post a clearer version in a day or two.

Well Peter is famous enough but I don't think that is his avatar picture!:)

1- Looking at file name, didn't help me a bit.
2- The Narration that goes with image, suggest its been a property of Associated Press and being B&W, possibly 50-60s era.
3- Tried to be smarty pants and did a reverse engineering with PS and best I can come with, after a quick trial are the images in attachment.

4- Best educational guess as to answer the question: No clue!
But then gut feeling goes for either Albert Einstein or Winston Churchill...

Peter Waites 20-10-16 20:58

Hi sassan

It's Einstein - I put a link in my post.

I thought this may have been hard. Oh well wrong again. Yes Peter is right its Einstein.

Peter Waites 21-10-16 09:33

It was fun unravelling it. Thanks for setting it up Arthur.

Arthur53 21-10-16 12:29

Peter, your welcome. Just thought it would be a change.

sassan 21-10-16 20:59

Peter I didn't see the link in your reply.
Also not sure how you came to that conclusion but I am glad my photoshop reverse engineering was actually successful to some extend in bringing out the original image, now that I can compare it to the original image. But must admit, I checked for Associated Press archive on line and found no good clue to go through their images. There is a few sites such as:
http://www.apimages.com/
or
http://www.aparchive.com/
none useful to see old images you want to see.

Game is now on you Peter.
