Sorry to take away some of your smugness. I've had a look at how to make a copyright brush on your website and have managed it. Ant |
Thanks Andy, done it too!:)

Well yet again,I have tried ,but with no success.I remember Tom(Tracker) sent me details approx 12mths ago ,they were the same as Andy's which i printed off last night(all 9 pages!!!).I made the text using the copywrite symbol,then went to edit and found brush define(Elements 2.0),typed in my name and pressed save,but it just went into my pics as a picture.somehow cannot find a brush palette as such.The default brushes are there,but not the box which shows on Andy's diagram.Any ideas as to where I went wrong?.Yes I did make a box using the Marquee tool.It is something to do with the brushes.

I am surprised that nobody has mentioned Windows "Character Map" utility for finding characters. Any character can pasted into your application. It also gives the Alt Code.
Start -> Programs -> Accesories -> System Tools -> Character Map |
Robski, thanks for that bit of information I never though of using it.
|
Hi Christine - It works in Elements 2.0 - I've just managed it so I'll try and un-pick where I think you may be slightly off.

Now use your marque tool to draw the box round it. Quote:
Now open up any picture and select the paintbrush tool. Move the cursor over the picture, right click and all your brush options appear. It should be in that list - probably at the very end. Hope this helps. |
Nigel,Thanks I will have another try.

Nigel,Thanks,yes another step further,I had not noticed the brush on the left in the box etc,and yes I actually got it to download on to a picture,but,I could not see the text,until I zoomed in,so are there any recommended sizes,please,or is one not suppposed to see anything until the pic is printed?.
